The series of dog heads, especially greyhounds, was developed through an exploration of materials, from the supports to the types of paints used. For these works, boards from our old village house were used, and due to the limited availability of painting materials in the area, soft Manley waxes, which were easy to obtain locally, were employed.
In terms of process, this series connects with Piernudas I, where the limitation of materials and the pure expressiveness of color are also central.
