The piece was created as one of the different physical representations of data on the theme of luxury that the artist gathered during 2019, from many different cities of the United States, the European Union and further afield. Her inspiration came from the fast rate at which luxury housing was being built in Boston, where she is based, and in many other cities around the world. In particular, she depicts the data gathered in Bizkaia.
