The Neither project explores the composition patterns and the different items that can be constructed using a single element, in this case warning tape. The artist uses black and yellow adhesive tapes to form a pattern of diagonals, generating the form, colour and textures of the work. Different processes alter the material to achieve three-dimensional and deformed spaces, conveying momentum and internal tension.
One of the main goals of the exploration is to analyse the architectural space by using black and yellow to create a kinetic staging. A series of mathematical formulas create movement and distortion, very similar to Op-art (visual style of art that uses optical illusions). When viewers enter the work, they begin to question the physical reality of their environment, playing with the limits of human perception.
