José Manuel Ruiz Bermúdez’s art revisits the relationship or friction that occurs between the body, objects, architecture and sound. Sin título [Untitled] starts from a line of research where the artist explores the relationship with sound, the bodies that inhabit space and their relationship between them. Birds and grievances are there an important part of the set of works that he has produced. This artist’s book, produced as a box or container, brings together a set of cartons that contain the design or arrangement of hands and fingers to recreate an interplay of shadows that emulate birds.
