X-5-75 is a portrait and part of the design of a custom-made silver bracelet for the person portrayed. The video is conceived as a mold: a piece, or a set of interconnected pieces, internally hollow but with the external details and imprints of the body it seeks to embrace.
The name “Miguel” and the signs “X-5-75” are engraved at the center of the bracelet. These elements refer to the possibility of a body that reaffirms itself through this object and its repetition. These elements point to a sign open to being filled, like the bracelet holding an arm—something that is susceptible to being, to occurring. Emptied structures, ellipses, and forms whose imagery indefinitely points towards multiple possibilities.
