X- 5-75 is a portrait and part of the design of a silver bracelet made to measure for the subject. The video is conceived as a mould: a piece, or set of pieces, hollow on the inside but with the details and external imprints of the body it is intended to hold.
The name ‘Miguel’ and the signs ‘X-5-75’ are engraved in the centre of the bracelet. These elements refer to the possibility of a body that asserts itself through this element and its repetition. These elements point to a sign open to being filled, like the bracelet holding an arm. Something susceptible to being, to happening. Empty structures, ellipses and shapes whose imagery points indefinitely towards multiple possibilities.
