During January and February, BilbaoArte will offer an audiovisual creation workshop at its facilities.
The workshop is designed as a creative exercise in which a wide range of quick and low-cost graphic resources, both video and still images, will be presented. The tools offered will be both analogue and digital, depending on the interests of each participant.
During this intensive workshop, participants will carry out various visual creation exercises in any format, which may include a GIF, a live broadcast, a single-channel video or even an installation piece.
The practice takes into account free construction experimentation, i.e. it will dispense with conventional narrative linearity, conscious of cinematic and technological unlearning.
Various creative processes will be explored: types of staging, incorporation of the body or central object, simple technological devices that can be used, homemade recipes for video and software resources (editing and special effects), depending on the project to be carried out.
This workshop aims to bring ideas to life in audiovisual format using a variety of tools, providing any kind of technical and inventive support during the development process.
