On 16th and 17th September, the artists will be presenting their projects for 2025/2026 at the Sala Art House Cinema auditorium (located in BilbaoArte). These presentations will be open to the general public and free of charge.

The recipients were selected back in June 2025 by an external panel of art professionals: Luis Candaudap, Begoña Zubero and David Arteagoitia from close to 400 national and international applications.
The artists chosen for this year are: MANU BLÁZQUEZ, FÁTIMA CONESA, JUANA GARCÍA-POZUELO, AURITZ IÑURRIETA, ANTOINE NESSI, GARETH PHILLIPS, FERNANDO VILLENA, LAURITA SILES, AMAYA SUBERVIOLA, FERMÍN MORENO MARTÍN [SILVER] and BLANCA CASTRO PONCE [EHU].
A total of 11 artists will complete an 11-month artist residency and receive a grant of €14,300.00, accommodation in the city (including living expenses), use of an art studio at the BilbaoArte facilities, access to workshops and technical guidance from workshop leaders, professional support from the BilbaoArte team, and free access to training courses organised throughout the 2025/26 academic year.
In addition to these artists, M. Benito Píriz, a beneficiary of the 24-month ARTIST GRANT WITH STUDIO TIME 2024/26, will complete the second year of her residency, spanning two editions of this grants programme.
