El color errante, una intención de gráfica a través de la pintura (Wandering colour: an exploration of graphic expression through painting) unfolds as an investigation into the poetics of a plastic archaeology, bringing printmaking and painting into dialogue and making their symbiosis visible within the arc of an installation. In colour (painting) and in signs (print), the temporal distinction inherent to each practice takes root, an experience in constant mutation that becomes the leitmotif of the artist’s work: each completed piece giving rise to the next.
Fátima Conesa (Algeciras, 1977) gained a Degree in Fine Arts from the Faculty of Sta. Isabel de Hungría, Seville (1995-2000) and a Master’s degree in Lithography from the CIEC Foundation. She combines her artistic activity with teaching, focusing mainly on graphic arts. Exploring abstraction, her artistic practice focuses on painting, engraving, and installation, challenging viewers to recognize each practice and forcing them to reflect on and question their existence.
