Contigo no bitxo is an initiative that arose from a gap in contemporary art. The conservation of contemporary art has always been approached from the perspective of professionals in this sector. These conferences aim to change the focus in order to convey the issue from the language of artistic creation through artists and other professionals, breaking down pre-established prejudices.

From a venue that we consider fundamental in the Basque art scene, such as BilbaoArte, which promotes the visibility and training of emerging artists, we propose dialogues from the perspective of creation, the art market and institutions.

The proposal would be open to professionals in the fields of art and conservation, as well as to undergraduate, master’s and doctoral students.
