On 14 and 15 April, BilbaoArte will be open to the general public in the afternoons, whilst the mornings of 15 and 16 April will be reserved for professional visits.

Visitors to Urazurrutia, 32 will be able to witness the creative process of M.P. Benito, Manu Blázquez, Fátima Conesa, Blanca Castro Ponce, Juana García Pozuelo, Auritz Iñurrieta, Fermín Moreno, Antoine Nessi, Gareth Phillips, Laurita Siles, Amaya Suberviola and Fernando Villena.
(Bilbao, 10 April 2026). BilbaoArte, the Bilbao City Council’s arts production centre, is opening its studios to the public on 14, 15 and 16 April. During these events, OPEN STUDIOS (live processes), visitors will be able to tour the facilities at the headquarters at Urazurrutia 32, as well as meet the artists in residence in person and learn first-hand about their working processes, techniques and projects currently in development, thanks to the 2025/26 Production Grant.
From Tuesday 14th to Thursday 16th, visitors will be able to discover the creative process currently being undertaken by M.P. Benito, Manu Blázquez, Fátima Conesa, Blanca Castro Ponce, Juana García Pozuelo, Auritz Iñurrieta, Fermín Moreno, Antoine Nessi, Gareth Phillips, Laurita Siles, Amaya Suberviola and Fernando Villena.
VISITS
On Tuesday 14th and Wednesday 15th, BilbaoArte will open its doors to the general public and specialists free of charge. The studios will be open to visitors from 5.00 pm to 8.00 pm, with the artists in attendance.
To mark this opening, on Wednesday 14th at 6.00 pm, there will be an information session on the 2026/27 Production Grants Scheme, for which the application period remains open until 10 May. In addition, on Thursday 15th at 6.00 pm, there will be a guided tour of the workshops (sculpture, printmaking, digital imaging, medialab, film and photography, analogue lab, audiolab) to explore the technical resources available to BilbaoArte’s resident artists and users.
On the 15th and 16th, the morning sessions will be reserved for trade visitors, by invitation from BilbaoArte or upon specific request via email to bilbaoarte@bilbao.eus.
